Molly McGregor was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of the Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama in October 2007. A graduate of The University of Toledo, Molly has worked in the nonprofit sector for 33 years, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of Cahaba Council. Most of her career, however, has been spent in the YMCA network in Alabama, Florida, and Ohio; notably as Communications & Marketing Director of the Birmingham Metro YMCA and Executive Director of the Shelby County and Five Points South branches of the Metropolitan YMCA. Molly has also been active in community initiatives, serving as the Campaign Co-Chair of the Agencies Division of United Way of Central Alabama; a past president of Forum-Executive Women's Network; a member of the Southern Aquatics and Track Foundation Board of Directors; and a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club. She is also a graduate of the YWCA's 2007 Momentum class and in 2006 received a Children's Advocate Award from Childcare Resources. Molly is an accomplished nonprofit professional, with a strong background in organizational development, program management, personnel administration, and financial management.
