INFORMATION SHEET

About NRCA:
The mission of the Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama (NRCA) is ...to strengthen and support Alabama nonprofit organizations in serving their communities. NRCA is a membership organization open to any nonprofit [primarily 501(c) 3 and 501(c) 4] in Alabama. Hundreds of nonprofit organizations around the state are members. Individual and Associate memberships are also available. The Resource Center is located in Birmingham, but members can access services from anywhere in the state by telephone, e-mail, visits, or participation in programs held in locations throughout Alabama. The Resource Center is Alabama's only centralized source of information, programs and services specifically designed to meet the needs of Alabama's nonprofit community.

NRCA Associate Membership:
NRCA extends a special membership opportunity to providers of products and services of interest to the nonprofit community. The Associate Membership is $500 per year and offers the following benefits:

This includes the company name, a brief description of the product or service offered, and a primary contact telephone number. However, the user can click on the name of any company on the list to get a full profile with activated e-mail and website links. NRCA will highlight any special offers and discounts Associate Members wish to extend to the membership, and will promote the Products and Services Directory to an e-mail list of almost 3,000 regularly.

·Identification on the General Membership Listing on the NRCA website, which will allow the user to click on the name and access the same full profile accessible from the Products and Services Directory.

·Assistance with planned communications to NRCA's nonprofit organizational members. For example, we will provide postal mail contact information for our active members up to twice a year, at the request of the Associate Member.

·Opportunity to be referred to NRCA members in need of specific products or services.

·Opportunity to lead workshops, "Ask the Expert" technical assistance sessions, and lunch-time informational sessions attended by nonprofits.

·Discounted exhibit space at the NRCA's Annual Nonprofit Summit.
