Driving Directions to The Harbert Center (Birmingham)

Conveniently located in Birmingham's City Center at 2019 Fourth Avenue North, THE HARBERT CENTER is easily accessible by interstate and major highways.

If you are heading North on Interstate 65, take the Third Avenue North Exit and turn right. Turn left on 23rd Street, then left on Fourth Avenue North.

If you are heading West on Highway 280, or North on Highway 31, take the First Avenue North Exit and turn left. When you reach 23rd Street, turn right. Turn left on Fourth Avenue North.

If you are heading South on Interstate 65, exit on to Interstate 59 North/Interstate 20 East. Exit at 22nd Street North and turn right. When you reach Fourth Avenue North, turn right.

If you are on Interstate 59 South/Interstate 20 West, take the 22nd Street North Exit, and turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Proceed to Fourth Avenue North and turn right.

THE HARBERT CENTER will be located on your left as you drive down Fourth Avenue North in the block between Richard Arrington Boulevard (21st Street) North and 20th Street. You will be able to identify the building by the maroon awning at the entrance.

PARKING OPTIONS: There are 3 convenient Parking Deck Facilities nearby plus on-street meter- parking. The closest deck is the Alabama Bank Parking Deck #3 directly across the street on your right. The cost is $4.00 for all-day parking. Parking Deck #4 is located on the corner of 22nd Street N. & 4th Ave. N. (back at the corner where you turned.) The cost is $3.00 for all-day parking. Parking deck #5 is located on 5th Ave. N. If you pass The Harbert Center, turn right at the next intersection, 20th Street N., and go one block, turn right at the intersection, 20th Street N., and go one block, turn right again and the parking deck is on the left-hand side of the road in the middle of the block.) The cost is $3.00 for all-day parking. On-street parking is available, however, the meters are for two hours only at $.25 per hour. If you plan an extended visit to The Harbert Center, it may be convenient to replenish the meters.
